Full Time – Professional Makeup Program

P1 – Fundamentals and Beauty Makeup Program

Designed for those who wish to begin their journey as a Makeup and Beauty Expert. Here, one is introduced to the world of Makeup and the Knowledge of the Beauty Industry. Understanding the Fundamentals and Base is important to build strong Knowledge. We cover Skin Theory, Face charts, Colour Theory, Face -Eye Shapes and Structures. Here, you learn the different types of Products involved and the essential Tools required.
SMA creates a blend of teaching skills with Hygiene, Discipline, Focus, and Creativity, making it truly International. By the end of the course, you will have a clear understanding of the Products, Tools, Skin, Colour, and will be able to create your Daily Makeup and Trendy Looks, from Glam Evening Looks to Cool Day Looks, and perfecting Eye Line Techniques.
The Total Course Duration is 3 Weeks. Towards the end of the course, Students have a Theory Exam, the passing for which is a minimum of 80%. Upon successful completion of the course, students can then proceed to the P2 Program.

P2 – Beauty, Bridal, and Airbrush Makeup Program

We highly recommend this course for those who wish to establish themselves as a Professional Bridal Makeup Artist. This program covers P1 ( Fundamentals ) and extensive Bridal Makeup Techniques. Here we cover Brides From North To South, West to East, including the Classic Western, Arabic, and Muslim Bride. The course also includes Basic Hairstyling, Airbrush, and Saree Draping, giving you the ability to take on any Bridal assignment. One can explore advanced Hairstyling options once they have had hands-on experience with the Basic Hairstyling Program.
Towards the end of the course, Students have a Theory Exam and a Practical Exam. Students have to score a minimum of 80 % to clear their Theory. For Practical Exams, students have to decide on a theme or the kind of Bride Makeup they would perform as a part of their Exam. Students can choose any culture bride, such as North Punjabi, South Indian, Catholic, Muslim, Arabic, Classic Western, or any Regional Bride.
Students have to plan the Looks, arrange for the right Outfit and Jewellery as per their Bridal theme. There are many ways students can arrange for outfits by renting or sourcing from their parents if needed. Help and assistance are provided at the academy in connecting with the respective vendors. Models will be assigned by the Academy prior to the students’ Exam, so students can plan their Looks well in advance. A photographer will be appointed as part of your exam and Portfolio Shoot.
The Total Course duration is 8 Weeks. Upon successful completion of the P2 Program, you are now a Certified Bridal Makeup Artist and are quite capable of taking Wedding assignments. We highly recommend this course as per the Indian Industry demands. We generally recommend this course, but if you wish to advance further with modern trends and techniques, we suggest you can choose from the P3 or P4 programs.

P3 – The Fashion Artist Makeup Program

This Advanced Fashion Program covers all the subjects from P1 and P2. Additionally, here you will find Advanced Fashion Editorial and Glam Makeup Techniques and modern Trends. Here, students further learn The History of Makeup, where we cover all the Retro Looks to Modern Fashion Looks. The Advanced Fashion Makeup Program will truly enhance your knowledge as a Makeup Artist in the Glamour, Editorial, and Fashion Industry. It is important as a Professional Makeup Artist, you have a clear Idea of what is Glam and what is Fashion Makeup, as application, techniques, and products are different.
Towards the end of the course, Students have a Theory Exam and a Practical Exam. Students have to score a minimum of 80 % to clear their Theory. For Practical Exams, Students will be given an advanced fashion theme, Models will be assigned on the Practical exam day, and a photographer will be appointed to cover their Portfolio.
The Total Course duration is 10 Weeks. Upon successful completion of the P3 Program, you are now a Certified Pro Makeup Artist and are quite capable of taking Wedding assignments, Fashion Weeks, Glam Events, and Beauty Pageants. Upon successful completion of P3, if you further wish to enhance your techniques, we suggest you choose P4 – The Master Makeup Artistry Program

P4 – The Master Makeup Artistry Program

The Ultimate Pro Makeup Course. This program covers all subjects from P1, P2, and P3. Additionally, we cover Body Paint, Creative Makeup, Prop Making, Art and Craft. This is one of the coolest subjects where you enter the world of Fantasy and Creativity. Explore, Innovate, Create any character, any looks, and bring any imagination to Life.
Towards the end of the course, Students have a Theory Exam and a Practical Exam. Students have to score a minimum of 80 % to clear their Theory. For Practical Exams, Students will be given a Creative Fantasy Theme, Models will be assigned on the Practical exam day, and a photographer will be appointed to cover their Portfolio.
The Total Course duration is 13 Weeks. Upon successful completion of the P4 Program, you are now industry-ready and are capable of taking all kinds of Makeup assignments, whether it be Bridal, Fashion, Editorial, Glam, Movie, or Film – you can create it ALL.
